We sell Citric Acid Storage Tanks in a variety of sizes and shapes. When storing liquid citric acid, polypropylene is the plastic of choice based on it's chemical compatibility and reasonable cost.

Fittings on the Polypropylene Tank storing Citric Acid solution can be welded polypropylene flanges or couplings, or screw-on fittings made from polypropylene or stainless steel. The gasket material for the screw-on fittings will be EPDM.

Many people are used to using chemical storage tanks made from Polyethylene. They are fine for a great many applications but Citric Acid Solution and Polyethylene do not play well together. Use Polypropylene instead.
